Over 200 team members from the Sandals Resorts in the Montego Bay region (Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Inn) were recently recognized for their immeasurable contribution to the Luxury Included Resorts at the Annual Prestige Awards. Each resort hosted a fête that not only celebrated their staff’s industriousness and commitment to delivering impeccable service, but also treated them to an evening of jubilation as they enjoyed food, drinks, music and special performances.
Sandals Montego Bay’s highly-anticipated hip hop themed event entitled “All the Way Up” emphasized the game changing transformation of the resort’s facilities as well as the increased and improved delivery of service extended by its team members.
Conversely, Sandals Royal Caribbean and its sister property Sandals Inn went back in time with a 1920s Harlem Nights and Gatsby themed event which allowed members of staff to delve into their creativity and create a new persona for the evening.
Emotions however ran high during the awards ceremony as top performers were awarded as Mover and Shaker Team Member of the Year (otherwise called Most Improved), Smile and Courtesy Award, Supervisor of the Year, Platinum Team Member of the Year among others.
Successful awardees received framed certificates, an engraved acrylic award, cash prizes and all-expense paid trips to local and overseas sister properties. The annual event is aimed at honouring team members who have displayed the Sandals ambassadorial qualities throughout the previous year.
