The Kid’s Camp Foundation and Stars of Hope Community Outreach Programme in partnership with the Jamaica Awareness Association of California(Diaspora) will be hosting its Medical Mission dubbed “Healthcare Professionals Helping Our Community” in an effort to encourage and educate the public to take responsibility for their health and lifestyle practices that contribute to high risk diseases.
The team of professionals are certified and have been doing this for many years in Jamaica but saw Annmarie’s YouTube video and decided to come on board and offer their skills to help the community.
Individuals will also be educated through presentations, screening, one-on-one talks and booth displays on nutrition, sex education and dental hygiene for children and adults
The free health fair is scheduled for Friday, 2017 June 09 at 60 ½ Manchester Avenue, Denbigh between the hours of 9am and 3pm. Several doctors and dentists have volunteered their time and services towards this cause.
