Sections of Brompton in St. Elizabeth are looking a lot more welcoming after Sandals South Coast Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Guardians visited the communities of Cambridge and Speculation on Friday, February 23rd dropping out recycled garbage bins and working with residents to eradicate unsightly garbage heaps and make-shift garbage containers.
The effort, which was spearheaded by Housekeeping Supervisor and EHS Guardian, Odaine Kelly, also a resident of the area, is part of the resorts ongoing recycling efforts. In the month of January team members at the resort were engaged in a recycling competition that challenged them to use discarded empty plastic bottles to make trash bins. The exercise in Brompton was yet another initiative by Sandals South Coast to raise awareness regarding proper garbage disposal and recycling.
