Live Well Jamaica resumes its online training with the launch of a suite of self-paced short courses. These courses are carefully designed to give learners tertiary-level coaching at a fraction of the usual cost for tertiary programs.
“Not everyone can afford to spend 3 or 4 years studying digital marketing, journalism, and social media marketing at a traditional university so our suite of online courses are available to those learners who want to take one year and receive the same level of training,” Program coordinator, Ashleigh-Ann Mowatt explains.
The suite of courses include: Digital Branding, Community Journalism, Essentials of Digital Design, Social Media Campaign Management, and Mastering the Art of Public Speaking. A full list is available on the company’s blog, Livewellja.com, which is also the main platform for learners to access and complete the courses.
Additionally, some courses on the schedule include certification from the trusted online education partner, HubSpot Academy.
Live Well Jamaica’s online training programs are built to smoothly fit into the schedules of the modern working professional who wants to skill up, earn more and eventually work less.
Therefore, interested persons are invited to ‘build their courses’. Learners will choose what they want to learn and how they want to be taught. This instructional method gives them the freedom to access the knowledge and coaching they need to address their unique learning gaps during the times most suitable for them and implement what they learn in their careers and work projects.
Following registration, learners will receive full access to their selected modules by way of a unique access code. The modules aren’t time-bound, allowing learners to complete them at their own pace.
A certificate of completion is awarded to all learners at the end of each module.
Live Well Jamaica encourages small business owners, young university graduates, stay-at-home moms and dads as well as retirees to register. Payment in parts is accepted.
The launch of Live Well Jamaica’s self-paced courses marks another milestone in the company’s history as it continues to offer flexible solutions for its clients.
