The initiative which was spearheaded by the Sandals saw over 10,000 people being impacted as Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple resorts across the Caribbean joined in the cause to not only distribute environmentally friendly bags, but educate shoppers and garner support by means of imploring participants to commit to the process by signing pledge cards and using reusable bags when grocery shopping.
