Dalia Mogahed once said, “People are so complex and multidimensional that raising someone to ‘hero’ status is too great of simplification.”

This means that if anyone person is to take the time to observe how complex a human being is they would realise how much of an understatement it is to rate anyone as a hero. If status were to be rated against complexity, Czevanique Heaths could not be rated less than a living legend. The multidimensionality of this legend was hard to summarize into one blog feature but I managed to measure her complexity based on four main factors. Czevanique’s complexity is rooted in personality, future plans, likes & dislikes and passion for children.

Firstly, Czevanique possesses one of the most beautiful and interesting personalities known to man. She is an outgoing, honest and kind, free spirit. She originated in Mandeville where members of her family played major roles in equipping her with the values that make up her personality to this day. Her most influential family members are her mother, sister and late grandmother. She specifically gives them credit for teaching her to be kind, selfless, respectful and unprejudiced. Though having made a big contribution, her family was not the only part of her childhood that contributed to her current personality. Ms Heath attended The Mannings School for her entire high school life. She points out her engagement in the choir to be the leading cause of her enjoyment of high school. She stated that the choir had taught her lessons of confidence and her outgoing personality. This confidence is so evident that it shines even through a telephone call. After attending Mannings, she moved on to complete her degree in Marketing and Psychology in 2020.

For college, the main source of her joy was her involvement in the optimist club, where she was the president for a year. This taught her what it meant to be a team leader and also showed her the need to be kind. She was involved in a project of anti-bullying while serving which will be expanded on later in the blog feature. Being as complex as she is, she finds happiness in things as simple as ice cream and burgers. However, her true joy is rooted in watching persons around her achieve. She describes her best feature to be her commitment. This commitment is not only to persons but also to any tasks. Czevanique differently has one of the most unique personalities.

Furthermore, another dimension of Czevanique is her future plans. She dreams to pursue a career in either Social Media Marketing or Teaching. She started at the University of West Indies as a Psychology major, however, encounters allowed her to discover and accept her passion. This passion was in marketing as electives led her to come in contact with a teacher that motivated her interest in the topic. She plans to be settled in the job of her dreams as well as start a family in the next five years. The reason she wishes to start a family is her conscious appreciation of the importance of family and her long-time love for children. This goal-oriented nature pushes beyond the boundaries of career goals.

Her non-career related goals include travelling to Spain and Columbia and being fluent enough to live in those countries for a while. However, “vision without execution is hallucination,” Thomas Edison. It is sure that Ms Heath’s vision will not become merely hallucinations as she has the driving force needed to execute each and every goal. The force is simply the need to prove that she has the ability to achieve in spite of great odds. She once thought she dreamed too big and some of her goals were not accomplishable but now, she loves to show herself and others that difficult is not impossible. Czevanique is destined to be great as she not only has the goals but also the driving force needed to achieve them.

In addition, her likes and dislikes contribute to her diversity as a being. Czevanique likes to learn new things through whatever sources provided from documentaries to ‘do it yourself’ projects. She also enjoys decoration in her spare time. She outlines the designing of business cards and fliers to be a highlight at her current job as it allows for the showcasing of her creativity. Her most admired feature of Jamaica is how practical or in layman’s terms ‘down to earth’ Jamaicans are. However, she dislikes the fact that Jamaica seems to be outgrowing a spirit of kindness and adopting a nature of being overly aggressive in all situations. She believes that even a vague look at the current crime rate will prove the credibility of her belief. She is of the view that Live Well Jamaica is one step in the correction to the problem as it provides a platform that allows for the raising of awareness which will change perspective. To make any change requires first a change in the mind; first changing perspective will lead to a much-needed domino effect which hopefully will lead to the emergence of a better Jamaica.

Czevanique’s favourite colours are lavender and brown as she describes them as free-spirited and realistic colours. Being as complex as she is, what disgusts her the most are bodily fluids and bad smells. Her favourite foods are pork, fish and papaya. On the other hand, she hates honey due to the taste it leaves after drinking it. Her catalogue of favourite television series includes The Bill Cosby Show, Alternate Carbon and Shadow Boom. Though she had reasons for admiring each of them, she specifically liked The Bill Cosby Show due to the fact that it reminds her of a simpler time where people were more realistic and kinder to one another. As far as celebrity inspirations go, though she does not fully endorse her lifestyle or music, she admires the specific character traits of Beyonce.  These characteristics include her passion in her field, how she strives for perfection and her support for female empowerment.  Czevanique’s preferences is another layer to her complexity.

Lastly, her passion for children is another factor that adds to the complication of her character. Though she has an overall passion for children, she is mainly concerned with the social issues of bullying and neglect. This is showed in the fact that while she was president of the Optimist Club she planned and executed a visit to an orphanage in Jamaica. She explained that the anti-bullying outreach project targeted young female orphans to offer a sense of upliftment and inspiration. She also has plans to offer her unpaid service to non-profit organizations through marketing campaigns to allow them to get the help needed in financial backing. As these upcoming projects are designed to benefit mainly children’s homes, she sees it as a way to make a difference in the world by giving neglected children the hope needed to fulfil their full potential. She describes her passion for children to have an even greater impact than her passion for marketing. This passion is last but probably most important in the undebatable sophistication of Ms Heath.

In conclusion, Czevanique has the complexity to allow her to be crowned a legend. This is due to the fact that she has a unique and interesting personality, distinct future plans and very specific preferences. In addition, her passion for children adds a valuable layer to her character.
