ADVICE

Oh geezam, Putus! Don’t give up. There are solutions, Shuga. Mek mi help yuh, an tell mi if yuh nuh get some relief, alright?

Firstly, you need to cut off of the dairy, Putus. You’re making your body very toxic by filling it with mucous that dairy produces in our bodies. The products you were trying may have been too harsh for your skin type, and you may have been too abrasive in your application. So here are a few steps I’d like you to take to relieve the irritation and inflammation of your skin.

1.Detox– seeing that your body seems to be in a toxic state and inflamed, you need to work on getting it back to an alkaline state. Cut off sugar for a month. NO SWEETS! Start drinking green juice every morning, and coconut water at least 5 times daily if you can. No yeast products either, suh no bread, crackers, biscuits etc.

2. Vitamins-Start eating foods rich in Vitamins C, E, A, B5, and Biotin. Foods that can give you these vitamins are carrots, pumpkin, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, prunes, string beans, okra, almonds, dark green vegetables, eggs, oats etc. (You can also get dietary supplements from a pharmacy).

3.Cleansing- Cleanse your skin with warm water infused with tea tree essential oil. Exfoliate with Himalayan salt, cinnamon powder, and honey scrub whilst using an exfoliating face brush with mild bristles. Tone with Witch Hazel.

4.Hydrate and Moisturize with Aloe Vera gel and castor oil.

You may need to get a toner with Glycolic or Salicylic acid to battle the excess keratin build up around the hair follicles on your skin that may be causing the inflammation and constant irritation of your skin.

Also, ensure that you change your sheets weekly and wash them in warm soapy water to prevent any bacteria or dust mites that may be plaguing you. This is often an issue for many of us and we don’t even know.

Try deez tips consistently fi a mont an tell mi how dem work out, Putus, and remember to live well!
